Here is a list of the major Bible passages regarding the abominations of the LGBTQ movement, with brief notes about their significance.

Reversal of right and wrong

LGBTQ people reverse right and wrong, and think they have done a wise thing:

Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter!
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
and shrewd in their own sight! (Isaiah 5:20-21)

Homosexual behavior is an abomination in God’s eyes

If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death, their blood is upon them. (Leviticus 20:13)

For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. Their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural, and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in their own persons the due penalty for their error. (Romans 1:26-28)

God can transform homosexuals

God can transform homosexuals who turn to him, just as he can transform idolaters and alcoholics and thieves.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

Shame

LGBTQ lifestyles are shameful, but the lesbians-gays-bisexuals-transgenders-queers refuse to be ashamed. In fact, they will point the finger and tell those who oppose them that they are the ones who should be ashamed (a great example of psychological transference).

For it is a shame even to speak of the things that they do in secret … (Ephesians 5:12)

Were they ashamed when they committed abomination?
No, they were not at all ashamed;
they did not know how to blush.
Therefore they shall fall among those who fall;
at the time that I punish them, they shall be overthrown,”
says the Lord. (Jeremiah 6:15)

Pride

Not only are they not ashamed, but they declare they are proud of their abominations. They stage “PRIDE” parades and create “PRIDE” organizations to promote their immorality. But pride was the original cause of Satan’s rebellion against God:

Your heart was proud because of your beauty;
you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor.
I cast you to the ground;
I exposed you before kings, … (Ezekiel 28:17)

The end result of pride

And pride ends not in happiness but in destruction:

Pride goes before destruction,
and a haughty spirit before a fall. (Proverbs 16:18)

Love

LGBTQ people invoke love as a justification for their sexual immorality. But Jesus says that godly love requires obedience to his commands. In other words, we cannot make up our own rules and still call it “love.”

He who has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me; and he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?” Jesus answered him, “If a man loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me does not keep my words; and the word which you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me. (John 14:21-24)

God created only two sexes, male and female

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27)

Marriage is between one man and one woman

God’s original plan was for one man to marry one woman:

Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother and cleaves to his wife, and they become one flesh. (Genesis 2:24)
